Lindsay's Cartage, Moving, Packing, & Storage Delivery Truck ca 1940's

The reason I did this page, is I had no idea this Company was as old as it was, as I remember their trucks, all around town in Terrace, and on the highways here in the early 1970's.
Looking for a Transfer Company name in Prince Rupert, ca 1910, I tripped over their name.

In business as early as 1910 in Prince Rupert


As you can see in these ads they were Grand Trunk Pacific Cartage Agents.

Here is the tidbits as I know them, can't seem to find much about the company history, so hoping someone can fill in some blanks on that one day.

Company address- 1125 Park Ave. in 1916

Lindsay Transfer shown on 4th st, in 1920

Williams Moving and Storage, bought Lindsay's at some point.
Possibly ca 1973?
Williams then went bankrupt in 2015.

1911 census shows him as a transfer man, Transfer Co. in Rupert.
Some later directories show him as a Dairy man in Rupert.
But later ones show him as Transferman.
