Misc. Coal Mine Photos and History in SE. Saskatchewan

Some photos folks send me I just don't know where they fit. but they are too nice not to put on here, and hope one day to identify them better, and add some history to them. stay tuned.

Burn Empire Coal, but no name for the mine? photo courtesy Roger Phillippe
Visible in photo, Ellsworth Coal Line, Canadian Pacific Coal Car #343193
Power poles to the mine. Nice Picture showing a large tipple, and a conveyor system taking the coal down from the Slope.
I know there was an Empire Coal Mine in the area, became Rock Springs Mine. But not sure if the same.

Ellsworth Coal Line Cars, were 35 ft 7“ cars, and were ca 1903 it seems from CPR archives. These were private owned cars, and they had 780 of them. obviously leased then to the CPR.

Underground Coal Mine Car, would have been manually loaded, located at the Bienfait Museum

Unknown Coal Mine, photo courtesy Ron Carpenter where was it? owner?
