I believe he was born John Charles “Seymour” Traynor
b- Jan 19, 1879, Dundalk, ON,
(enlistment form says Dundalk ON, Marriage Cert, Dundalkshire, Scotland)
(age 27 when he married in Oct 1906)
d- Mar 2, 1934, in Vancouver BC
Buried in Mountainview Cemetery, Vancouver, BC

Seymour took his early education at Dundalk ON,
Attended Collingwood Collegiate for 2 years.
Then he spent some time in the west,
Until he entered University of Toronto, Medical School, where he graduated in 1905
He then practiced in BC from 1906.

Oct 11, 1907 he was in Steveston BC appointed BC Coroner.

June 1910- Dr. Seymour Traynor was the doctor at the Hospital at Kitselas.
He was from Phoenix BC, before Kiselas.
He came to Kitselas as a salaried Grand Trunk Pacific Physician
Before he went to Phoenix/Kitselas, he supposedly had a successful Obstetrician practice in Vancouver

Feb. 1911 he was the doctor that signed the death certificates, for the men that died in the Kitselas Tunnel Explosions

ca 1915, Seymour served as Doctor at Kitsumkalum Reserve, through Indian Affairs.

He surveyed Holstein and Orchardville.

Isaac's Mother- Mary Ann O'Leary in Ireland
Parents came from Droghed Ireland ca 1840,
settled on Lot 45, Concession 3, Egremont township, Grey Co. ON.
Peter Traynor came with 3 sons, from first wife,
John Traynor, Alex Traynor and Thomas Traynor
Three sons were born in Canada, Isaac above, Adam Traynor and Henry Traynor

an Adam Traynor was a witness at his wedding.

(another distress call said 400 miles NE) and sinking,
the 2,594 ton, Canadian Freighter “Lisieux”.
17 survived, 12 died.
Former French vessel taken over by the Canadian government.
Captain Andre Perrin died as well.
Vessel was from St. John's Newfoundland.
It was carrying lumber for Britain.
He was a former CFCN announcer in Calgary
married Minnie Julia Richardson, she died Aug 2004 in Calgary
