Aiyansh- Tseax Cone

Tseax Cone, alt “Aiyansh Volcano Cinder Cone” from the air

  • Elevation- 600 m (1,969 ft)
  • located at 55“07'N, 128”54'W
  • It is one of Canada's youngest Volcanoes.
  • There is actually 2 cones here.
  • One inside the other.
  • Smallest one 290 mtrs, and largest 460 mtrs at the base.
  • This volcano erupted in 1325, and again between 1750-1775.
  • It is currently designated Dormant.

I was in a helicopter and we flew into this cone and below the rim.It was exciting to say the least.
