School History

No school symbol near this location, on this map, but per Frobisher history book there was a school there.
School was opened in 1908,
Cateville School District #1531.
The school district is described in the Lampman History book, Poet's Corner ( Note- I do not have a copy)
A Mrs Emma Clark, nee Goudy, taught school here prior to her marriage in Feb 1910. She died Aug 17, 1952.
Another teacher here was Blanche Schiestel, nee Knibbs, she taught approx 15 students. grades 1-9.
J. Beninger was Sec-treas of the School District in Apr 1917, when they took an ad out to hire a teacher.
